Helix Pay solutions are designed to cater to your unique needs. We understand that every business is different, so we offer a range of customizable features to support your business and its unique workflows.

  1. Receipt Settings: You have the flexibility to share refund and sale receipts with your customers digitally and in person using supported printers. Customize the content of the receipt in the Merchant portal, including refund policy, custom text, logo, and appearance. The settings in place during a sale are preserved and used if a receipt copy needs to be retrieved at a later time. Click here for how-to guide.

  2. Business Settings: Tailor your business settings to match your requirements. Set your own tax rates and enable tips, allowing customers to add tips during the payment process. If you're selling products (not services), you can choose to disable tips altogether. If your business has staff, you can also decide whether to permit them to set their own tip values within your defined limits. Alternatively, you can use default settings. This feature could be particularly useful for businesses like taxi fleets, giving drivers flexibility and control in their interactions with passengers. Click here for how-to guide.

  3. Notification Settings: Create email alerts for specific events that you want to stay informed about, such as refunds or payouts. Click here for how-to guide.

  4. Payout Settings: Helix Pay offers various payout frequencies. With every sale, your balance increases until it's batched and transferred to your chosen external bank account. Choose the frequency and batch time that aligns with your preferences. Keep in mind that for refunds to customers, you must have a sufficient balance to cover the refund amount. You can also set a "minimum balance" to ensure you can always fund a refund request. Click here for how-to guide.

  5. Order Hardware: If you want to accept in-person payments, you can order hardware from our online shop.

  6. Staff: Whether you're a solo operator or part of a team, you can add sub-users to your account at any time. Choose from default system roles or create custom roles with specific permissions that align with your business needs. Click here for how-to guide.

  7. API Keys & Webhooks: Helix Pay enables you to export your data to third-party systems using various methods. While the merchant portal offers CSV and PDF exports, if you require programmatic access, refer to our developer portal for more details. API keys can be managed here.
